OPTOS captures a 200 degree wide-image of the retina.
Before your appointment we would like to briefly go over our new procedures for your safety and for a seamless and pleasant experience.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have now moved forward with using an optional technology that our office has always had called the OPTOS with every patient. The OPTOS is an instrument that allows the doctors to have a complete view of the inside of your eyes without having to have your eyes dilated. This not only allows for a thorough exam but also limits the time and exposure in the rooms with the doctors.
Most common insurance companies typically discount the OPTOS to $39, which is what we have decided the out of pocket responsibility will be for your visit.

We kindly ask that a mask is worn and are limiting one person in the office to assist the children and elderly patients that are unable to be alone during the examinations.
